Films in the Park

The Chorus
Thurs, Sept 16th, 7:00 pm
In partnership with Palos Fine Arts,
“Films in the Park” will present films that focus on the “rhythm of art”
followed by a discussion. Refreshments will be served. September’s Oscar
nominated film tells the story of a teacher who transforms the lives of
his troubled students through music. French dialogue with English
subtitles. Run time 97 minutes.
SUMMER READING WINNER
Susan Hodges was the
third and final winner in the Summer Reading Program raffle.
Be sure to turn in all reading
logs by Saturday, July 31st. The Summer Reading Program prizes
for adults will be awarded on Tuesday, August 10th at 7:00 pm at
the special musical event with Dennis Stoughmatt & the Creole

tickets are in!
Ravinia is Chicago's "sound of
summer," a place to meet friends, have a wonderful time
and hear some of the greatest music in the world. The
Palos Park Public Library now has free tickets
for lawn admission for many Ravinia concerts available
for our cardholders. Tickets are distributed on a
first-come-first served basis. Ask about the tickets at
