What is a roku?

Roku streaming players that connect to your TV. Just connect them to the Internet, set up a Roku account, and start streaming. The Library provides the following Channels with a library account at no charge - Netflix, and Amazon (Prime) – you should not have to enter in passwords to access the materials on these channels, please do not use your personal accounts on these channels.

 

Loan Period - 7 days

Overdue Fine - $2 per day

 

Set – Up Instructions:

  1. Plug in the AC adapter into the Roku box and wall socket.

  (Roku does not have an on/off switch, it’s automatically on)

  2.  Plug the HDMI cable or composite A/V (red, white, yellow) cables into the Roku box and the television.

  3. Select the proper video source(channel) or input for the television, if necessary.

  4. Wifi-Connection: Go to Settings menu > Network.

  5. Follow prompts to connect to your home WiFi, and enter your password if you require one.

  6.You’re ready to use the Roku! Remember Netflix and Amazon videos are the only allowed applications.

To disconnect your WIFI Network by going to Settings – System – Advance System Settings – Network Connection Reset.
