Looking for a Great Way to Serve Your Community? Want to Join the Library Board?

The Trustees of the Palos Park Public Library are seeking applicants for one open seat on the library’s board.

The opening is for a regular term that started January 1, 2026. 

​

Library Board Trustees are appointed by the Mayor of Palos Park and the Village Council.

Applicants must reside in the Village of Palos Park and be able to attend board meetings on the third Wednesday of the month at 5:00 p.m.

If you have an interest in or have experience in any of the following areas we encourage you to apply:

-public libraries

-public service/volunteering

-finance

-advocacy
